Joy, a fruit of the Holy spirit which is an internal  selfless expression of the goodness of the Lord and also shows a spiritual connection with the Lord.

Happiness is a selfish external, superficial pleasure of the flesh which is mostly short lived.

Galatians, 5:19-21 describes vividly the pleasure of the flesh. We can plainly say that the happiness of the flesh does not reflect the ways of the Lord. Many are the times as human we do desire so much which is not bad but we fail to question ourselves with the much wealth which we gain will it draw us near to the Lord or not.what the Lord has given to you does it give you peace, do you potray Godly love, are you kind, are you gentle towards other,do you have self control and do you have joy.

If the wealth I have leads to the character traits in galatians, 5:19-21,to me I would say I  need to go back at the foot of the cross and bleed the blood of the Lamp, pray for repentance of the sins I have committed and pray for the renewal of a right spirit in me, that I be filled with the spirit of the Lord.

I learnt that anywhere that the Lord dwells there is joy. Oh God fill me with your joy that I should never accept the pleasure of the flesh that leaves people wanting more and at the same time filling spiritually empty. Filling me Lord with joy, peace, love, gentleness, faithfulness, self control, patience, kindness and goodness. Lord let your spirit dwell in me always.

John 3:16 (KJV)                                              For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The love of God something that we can not be able to explain with our own mouths. A love so rich and pure that one can not be able to explain. Love that is not selfish or jealous in any way. A love that is given freely, not bought with finances or good deeds. A love so precious and kind.

Can I be able to give up the life of my own child to save the life of another person’s child? Having lost a child myself, I can atest that it is not easy loosing your own blood. But our father in heaven gave his only begotten Son to die for us on cross, not because he had any sin on him but for my sin. Now that is true love, so amazing. Also the son, Jesus Christ could have decided not to go through the pain and trouble but because He loved us, He endured the pain and suffering for my redemption.

For us to experience an everlasting life we should trust and believe in Lord, knowing that the flesh may fails us but He says he will never leave us nor forsake those who trust and believe in Him.

Lord feel me with your love that I my be able to love everybody. If only we loved more before placing judgement

Romans 5:1-6 (KJV)  

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

It all starts with repentance for one to be justified through faith/commitment to the Lord. Then we are filled with the spirit of the Lord and we gain a fruit of the Holy spirit which is peace,peace that surpass human understanding.

I have learnt that His grace and mercy is always sufficient not because of any good deed I have done but because of His inmesurable love for me.

What does the Lord mean that we should glory in tribulations? I have I learnt that tests come before a testimony. Testimony is vivid description of perseverance/patience, a fruit of the holy spirit. So in any tribulations we have a part of the Lord in us who is teaching us and molding us according to His will to emerge as Victor’s and not victims after any tribulations. All He requires of me is to have hope. For He says I have good plans for you, plans to give you a hope and future.

We should learn that there is nothing to hard with the Lord. He always says he will carry us through everything.

Jesus christ we come to you bleeding the blood of the Lamp. We pray for forgiveness of sins that we have done. We pray for purification, sanctification and justification upon our lives. I thank you Lord for your mercy and grace. Thank you Lord for the gift of life and good health. Lord thank you for providing for me. Guide me Lord, bless me Lord. Amen
